Shell Knob Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven group that supports the Shell Knob Library through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering. They organize special events to fund extras, such as children’s programs, and books, while advocating for increased funding and community awareness.  They also raise money through used book sales, bake sales, galas, and auctions to support library needs not covered by the regular budget, as well as fundraising for our new library.  The Friends of the Library group is often crucial for bridging the gap between limited library budgets and the community's demand for services.
